Faucet & Fixture Repair in Nampa, ID
Hard water is why fixtures here wear out faster than the box they came in suggests.
What goes wrong
A dripping faucet is the smallest plumbing problem and one of the most persistent, because it is easy to postpone. Cartridges wear, seats pit, and mineral deposits from hard water accelerate all of it. The drip is annoying; the mineral buildup that caused it is also quietly working on everything else the water touches.
How we handle it
We repair where the fixture is worth repairing and replace where the parts cost more than the fixture. On homes with hard water we will point out that treating the water addresses the cause rather than replacing fixtures on a cycle, without pushing it as a condition of doing the work in front of us.
What is included
- Cartridge, valve seat and O-ring replacement
- Kitchen, bathroom, utility and outdoor faucet repair
- Fixture replacement, including supply lines and shutoff valves
- Shutoff valves that have seized replaced while we are there
- Full fixture packages for remodels
What it costs
We quote the price before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. On fixture replacement you can supply your own fixture or we can, and we will quote either way.

Faucet Repair questions
Not answered here? Call and describe what you are seeing. We will tell you what it needs before anyone comes out.
(208) 870-0148Is a dripping faucet worth calling about?
It is worth fixing, though it rarely needs an emergency visit. A steady drip wastes a meaningful amount of water over a year, and the wear that causes it usually continues until the fixture will not shut off properly at all. It is a good thing to bundle with any other work you have scheduled.
Why do my fixtures wear out so fast?
Hard water is the usual reason in this valley. Dissolved minerals leave deposits on seats, cartridges and aerators, which stops parts sealing and forces you to turn handles harder, which wears them faster still. It is the same mechanism that scales up a water heater, just somewhere you can see it.
Can I supply my own faucet?
Yes. We will install a fixture you bought and tell you before we start if we think the model will give trouble. We can also supply one, and we install Moen among other brands. Either way the labour is quoted upfront.
