Drain Cleaning in Nampa, ID
Clearing the blockage is the easy part. Finding out why it blocked is the part that stops it happening again.
What goes wrong
A drain that backs up once is an inconvenience. A drain that backs up every few months is a symptom, and clearing it repeatedly is paying for the same problem on a schedule. The difference between those two situations is usually invisible from the sink.
How we handle it
We clear the drain and then work out why it blocked. If it is grease or hair in a fixture line, we say so and you are done. If a main line keeps blocking, that points at something structural, roots, a belly in the pipe, or a partial collapse, and we put a camera down rather than guessing. Selling you the same drain cleaning three times is worse business than fixing it once.
What is included
- Cable and drum machine clearing for fixture and main lines
- Hydro jetting where scale, grease or roots need cutting out
- Camera inspection when a line blocks repeatedly
- Diagnosis of the cause, in plain terms, with the footage to back it
- A written price before work starts
What it costs
We quote the price before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number you pay. Camera inspection is quoted separately when a repeat blockage makes it worth doing.

(208) 870-0148Why does my drain keep blocking?
Repeated blockages in the same line usually mean the pipe itself has a problem rather than the drain having a habit. The common causes are tree roots entering at a joint, a low spot where waste settles, scale narrowing an older pipe, or a section that has partially collapsed. A camera inspection tells you which one it is instead of clearing it again in three months.
Are chemical drain cleaners a bad idea?
For a stubborn blockage, generally yes. They rarely clear a full obstruction, they sit in the pipe when they fail, and repeated use is hard on older pipe and on the seals in your traps. They also make the line more dangerous for whoever opens it next. A cable or a jetter removes the blockage instead of trying to dissolve it in place.
What is the difference between drain cleaning and hydro jetting?
A cable machine punches through a blockage and pulls it out, which is enough for most fixture clogs. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the full diameter of the pipe, which is what you need when grease, scale or root hair has coated the walls. Cabling opens a channel; jetting restores the pipe.
